Of random topics and sausage....

SO...This week the theme foe lectures is "fatherheart of God." This means learning to view and relate to God as our father. Our speaker is Grant Windle and he is a super cool guy so if you want to k now more about him, you could probably read one of his many books, watch his documentaries, visit his church, or listen to some of his albums. I feel like I've met a famous  person or something.
Mangos. Is it wrong that the mere mention of that word right now makes my face distort into an odd shape and my stomach twist in my gut?? 'Cause right now, I am not a fan of mangos. Oh sure, their pleasant yellow color and their sweet-but-tangy taste is appealing, but after eating them EVERYDAY, DAY AFTER DAY, I am DONE. SO sorry. No offence to any of my  mango lovers out there. I was once one of you....
Currently, I am pretty sure that if I wanted to, I could travel to 17 different countries and only pay for transportation. That's how awesome YWAM is.  I have friends from every continent except Antarctica. And the Artic circle. Which I am not really sure if it is even a continent right now. SO yeah...
SO outreach. Haha. I love how I am like switching topics like every other sentence. sorry for that. But that is sorta how my brain works. I am just trying to type out what my brain is trying to tell me. It's sorta smart, that brain. I should really listen to it more often!
But anyway....Outreach. SO we have concluded that my outreach is going to cost aproximentally $3,500 or some such. I have already paid the deposit of $2,000 and now I am trusting  God to provide the rest. But, my friend, and fellow Germany team mate, has ZERO money. She has not even paid the deposit as of yet. She is completely trusting God to provide for her, and I am as well, but I would like for you to lift her up in your prayers as often as you can.We have seen God move in AMAZING ways since we have been here and we are trusting that we will see him astound us again.
As for Germany...It is a country. Yeah. That is pretty much all I know about it as of yet because I haven't had the time to research this fabulous country!! Bad excuse I know  but I HAVE been working on my German. But don't ask for me to write it. I can only speak it and I literally have ZERO idea of how one would spell the words of this fabulous language. ZERO.
But I DO somethings.
I will now number them out so they take up more room and make me look like I know more than I really do. WHY did I just tell you that? Whatever. Here it is, folks!
1. We will be staying in Berlin
2. We will be staying at a YWAM base
3. We will be staying on the fifth floor. (I'm guessing this means I won't have to worry about watching my weight whilst I am living there. ESPECIALLY if the bathroom is on the bottom floor....)
4. We will be staying in Berlin for 4 weeks
5. We will be ministering top youth, kids and prostitutes
6. We will be doing skits, sharing testimonies, preaching sermons, leading worship, leading youth groups, doing street  ministry and going on prayer walks whilst there
7. We pray everyday for our team to grow in unity with each other and with God
8. We are excited for  the sausage
9. We go to the Czech Republic for 2 weeks
10. We are...excited.
Yup, thats pretty much it. If you would like to know more, We have outreach meetings every wednesday so you can email me or whatnot to find out  more. Speaking of contact, I feel like You guys never email me anymore. Which makes me SAD. So yeah. If you happen to think of me when you are at your comfortable house, on your expensive laptop, eating your gourmet doughnuts, in your massage chair, petting your fluffy little dog....wait, what on earth am I talking about??? Oh whatever. Just send me an email. Or a letter. What ever floats your boat.
Love always,
Bree

  1. For a second there, I thought you lost your memory. Because, you know, you have SO MANY friends who eat gourmet donuts with their fluffy, little dogs...
